Undiscovered songwriters pitch original material to Aloe Blacc and director David Leitch, who are looking for material for the film "Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw"; one song is chosen to be recorded by Blacc and featured in the film.

Undiscovered songwriters pitch original material to Macklemore, who's looking for his next hit, and a panel of top music producers, who work to creatively adapt the songs to the star; Macklemore chooses one song to record and release.

Country hitmakers Old Dominion come to "Songland" to hear unknown songwriters pitch their original material to be featured in an upcoming Jeep commercial. Three of the most successful and sought-after writer-producers in music, Ryan Tedder, Ester Dean and Shane McAnally, produce the songwriters to creatively adapt their songs to perfectly fit the styles of Old Dominion and Jeep. One song is chosen to be recorded by Old Dominion, released for a global audience, and featured in the next Jeep commercial.

Leona Lewis comes to "Songland" to hear unknown songwriters pitch their original material to be her next hit song. Special guest Jason Evigan, an accomplished writer-producer and hitmaker behind Maroon 5's #1 song "Girls Like You," and "What Lovers Do," joins Ester Dean and Shane McAnally to help creatively adapt the songs to perfectly fit the style of OneRepublic.
