Millie’s parents have just broken up and she and her sister Lauren are spending time at both their Mum’s house and Dad’s flat. Millie soon sees the advantage to this family set-up as she has two chances to celebrate Christmas, two birthdays and two bedrooms. Problems arise though after her parents find new partners.

It is Lauren's birthday, and she tells Millie what she wants is for their mum and dad to get back together.

Millie and Lauren try to coax their reluctant dad back onto the dating scene, with consequences they could never have predicted.

Sharon and Mike plan a night out, but when their babysitter cancels, they decide to leave the girls with Mike's son Craig.

Tony has a date with Amber, who the girls think is way out of his league - so they decide to give his image a radical makeover.

It is Halloween and Amber brings her kids Fran and Jake over to Tony's to meet the girls. But things are more frosty than spooky.

When Mike and Craig move in, Millie has to give up her room and share with Lauren, who is not happy about it.

When Millie overhears Sharon and Mike discussing a holiday in France, she tries to get an invitation for herself and Lauren too.
Episode 8
Lauren's favourite band are planning a secret gig, so she abandons her plan to go to the cinema with Millie.
Episode 9
Lauren's new smartphone is driving everyone mad. But when Mike finally confiscates it, it goes missing and turns up under Millie's mattress.
Episode 10
Sharon is buying a cot, looking at names and calling nurseries. Millie and Lauren decide that she and Mike must be planning for a baby.
Episode 11
The family are stunned by Mike's big news. He has been offered a new job - a year in Bermuda.
Episode 12
It is Millie and Lauren's first Christmas since the separation, and for Millie it is the chance for a fresh start.
