Overview: Aghasted about Kay Yuk's ruthlessness, Kuan Wah moves out of the palace. She sides with Sum Chi in confronting Kay Yuk. Framed by Kay Yuk for attempting to assassinate him, Sum Chi is heavily ambushed. Sum Hung comes to his rescue. Furious, Kay Yuk orders for the massacre of members of White Lotus Sect. Kuan Wah has conceived Kay Yuk's baby. Kay Yuk uses this opportunity to sweet-talk Kuan Wah into going back to the palace. In the fight against army sent from the court, Cho Pat is sacrificed. Kay Yuk refuses to make land concessions to Yachi in exchange of Kay Chun. Sum Chi decides to assassinate him during the Heaven Worship ceremony.
